CLAVE will develop a programme of activities based on informing and training the groups that work for the integral development of people with hearing impairment. We will provide information on relevant aspects of audiology, speech therapy and the education of people with hearing-impairment to improve their access to information in different settings (family, education, society, work).

We currently educate beneficiaries and their families directly within our centre via workshops and seminars.

We will contribute to the training of future professionals in the fields of audiology, psycho-pedagogy and speech therapy. In addition we will offer on-site training lectures and on-line correspondence courses to audiologists, speech therapists and teachers and train parents and hearing-impaired people through workshops and lectures.

We will work to improve acoustic conditions in buildings and promote accessibility in all social settings.

CLAVE was registered as a charity in England and Wales in October 2007 and in early 2008 it opened its offices in Spain, from where it will carry out its main programme of activities.
